Made in Guldental: The Making of Bruno
Crafted with meticulous detail, built with robust workmanship, and infused with a unique charm that instantly evokes dusty arenas and wide-open fields.
Because here, it’s not just the ride that matters – it’s the style too. And Bruno delivers.
BRUNO – the Working Equitation Bull, all Heart and Horns
Imagine the sun dipping low, hooves crunching in the sand. And there he stands – Bruno. Poised to challenge you, to sharpen your technique, and to carry himself with unmistakable presence.
Bruno isn’t just a training bull. He’s the outcome of countless hours in the workshop, of air thick with wood dust, and of the steady rhythm of hammer and plane. Piece by piece, he came to life in Guldental – born of an idea, a passion, and a spark of Western spirit.
Now he’s nearly ready: the solid base is awaiting its final coat of paint, the precision laser mount for the Garrocha ring is being fitted – and soon, the stage is set for Bruno.

TERRA the Paddle
The best fascia and massage tool for horses and people!
When I start a massage, I always begin with my hands. After many years of experience as a massage practitioner, they’ve become my most trusted tool. They let me feel the tissue and notice even the smallest reactions from my horse, human, or animal client. One of my hands always stays in contact – that steady connection is essential for me.
But with horses especially, my hands alone can only go so far. They’re such big, powerful animals, and that’s where the paddle comes in. With it, I can cover much larger muscles and body areas in a smooth, even way. If I find a spot that needs more pressure, the paddle gives me precision: softer pressure along the edges, deeper pressure in the middle. It lets me work with detail, without losing the broad, flowing strokes I love so much.
Those long strokes are something I care deeply about. For me, they’re not just technique – they’re part of how I bring the whole body into relaxation. I like to finish them at the head, hooves, or tail, and the paddle is perfect for that, whether I’m working over small areas or the entire body.
Fascia work is another place where the paddle shines. Fascia aren’t the same as tendons – they form a whole-body connective tissue network that surrounds and links muscles, bones, tendons, and organs. They give the body stability, glide, and sensation. With my hands I can sense them, but with the paddle I can reach them evenly and more effectively, across both small and large areas.
For me, hands and paddle belong together. My hands create connection and guide me, while the paddle helps me work more deeply and broadly – always with the wellbeing of the whole body in mind.
Each paddle is made with care and love, handcrafted in my workshop in Guldental, Germany
Using the Paddle
Select the notch that best fits the body part of your horse. Start with gentle pressure and always stroke in the direction of the coat. Repeat this process three times, gradually increasing the pressure—always in a way that feels comfortable for your horse.
Pay close attention to your horse’s reactions. If it tries to move away or shows signs of tension, reduce the pressure and work on three main areas: the forehand, the torso, and the hindquarters.
Important: Over bony structures, glide with minimal or no pressure!
Quality & Craftsmanship
This paddle is made from high-quality, solid multiplex beech wood. It is both sturdy and flexible, yet pleasantly lightweight. The ergonomically shaped curves ensure a comfortable grip.
With a size for the medium Paddle of 13 x 33.5 cm and a weight of 198 g, it is particularly easy to handle. The carefully rounded edges and the natural linseed oil finish make it durable and pleasant to use.
Handcrafted with love in my workshop in Guldental, Germany.
