Wild at Heart is a mindful form of equine massage that I developed through my intensive work with wild horses, my specialized TouchLife® massage training, and many years of hands-on experience. It is a core pillar of my holistic Wild at Heart approach, where coaching elements and subtle perception training for humans also play a central role.

At its heart are deep awareness, movement, and genuine connection. This gentle yet powerful form of bodywork helps horses release both physical and emotional tension while rebuilding an authentic trust in human touch. Crucially, you learn this equine massage technique together with your horse.

Awareness through Motion

Unlike traditional approaches that work exclusively with a stationary horse, this method invites movement, self-awareness, and relationship into the process. Throughout the session, your horse remains completely free and is welcome to move at any time. Because the work actively incorporates motion, changes become immediately visible and tangible - reflected instantly in the horse's posture, expression, energy, and overall quality of movement. This creates a much deeper understanding of your horse’s subtle body language and the unique communication you share.

Through loving intention, focused attention, and mindful touch, your horse is supported in letting go of habitual tension patterns, rediscovering physical lightness, and returning to a natural state of balance. As I guide you, I teach you these mindful massage techniques directly on your own horse, with the ultimate goal of deepening your relationship and refining your mutual sensitivity.

Recognizing Release

You will learn how conscious touch helps your horse return to its natural self-regulation. You will begin to recognize the vital signs of release, trust, and inner balance: moving, stretching, chewing, sighing, softening, or even rolling.

This work is far more than mere technique - it is connection, understanding, and a true encounter. It actively strengthens communication, softness, and mutual trust between you and your horse.
